This is a story i hear all too often now that solar panels have gained popularity. A young couple who have recently bought their own house and are very "green" and also want to save money. They contact a guy to come in and install solar panels for hot water. They sign up to get the job done but never check if he has a license or if he is even trained to do the job. They assume he knows what he is doing and hand him over a $1000 deposit. After three months of waiting the guy came and did the solar water heater. Following the installation the young couple tried to get home owners insurance. They were unable to qualify because the solar water heater did not have a permit from the county. Few people know that in order to install a solar water heater the company must first pull the permit. So now the couple could not get the roof insured and in Florida that is a major problem especially around hurricane season. Nor did they receive the rebate check from the government that he promised. Looks like they have been scammed and ripped off. This scenario seems to be happening more often and hard working people keep getting scammed and ripped off. Since the energy crisis along with our current state of economics hard working citizens are looking for a way to save the earth and save their hard earned money. The truth of these matters is that you can get a nice rebate check from the government, but only if you use a licensed professional. Fl Green Energy is one of the few and new South Florida companies who are working hard to battle against scams by hiring trained professionals to do all the work and guaranteeing that you get your government rebate check. Also they are able to finance the whole thing so you wouldn't have to give any money down and actually make no payments or interest for a year. Check out their website and sign up for a free energy survey and let them show you how a real company does it.
